We collaborated with CG for a smart blood donation event at their premises. Nepal Red Cross Society, Kathmandu, Nepal Red Cross Society, Lalitpur, and Grande International Hospital. we collected an impressive total of 104 pints of blood. This amount is sufficient to potentially save the lives of 312 individuals in need!
Out of the 110 people who registered for the event, 104 were found eligible to donate blood. The remaining individuals were unable to donate due to various health issues and other reasons. Among the eligible donors, we had a participation of 88 males and 16 females. To enhance the engagement of the blood donors, we incorporated witty props during the event and captured memorable pictures, which were shared on social media platforms.
As a token of Love, all blood donors were provided with food, refreshments, and stickers. To promote the event and increase its visibility at the CG Office, we utilized one HLB hotline Standee for marketing purposes. We also implemented a digital system to streamline the blood donation process, ensuring that every detail from collection to supply was accurately recorded and managed.
Furthermore, as an added gesture of gratitude, we sent a Thank You SMS to each donor once their donated blood was utilized to save a life. This initiative aimed to demonstrate our deep appreciation for their selfless act and to keep them informed about the positive impact of their contribution.
We are immensely grateful to everyone who participated in this blood donation event, including the collaborating organizations, donors, and volunteers. Together, we have made a significant difference in the lives of many individuals, and we hope to continue organizing such events in the future to further support our community's healthcare needs.
