Fundraiser to Support and Manage Hamro LifeBank is a social initiative for a smart, transparent, and holistic blood management service from collection to supply. We have saved and impacted more than 100K lives since our inception in 2019. Hamro LifeBank was started as an answer to the growing pains of a patient’s family to arrange blood in times of need. As we delved deeper into the current blood shortage challenge, the concept birthed into a much-needed data-informed approach, wherein the lifecycle of a blood bag can be managed efficiently and transparently with higher process control.
In Nepal, families of patients often face the heavy responsibility and stress of managing blood and finding blood donors themselves. Hamro LifeBank strives to ease this burden and stress by assisting families in their search for blood through a dedicated Ragat Chahiyo phone line that individuals can call in case of emergencies or urgent needs related to blood donation or transfusion. This hotline serves as a direct and immediate point of contact for individuals seeking blood donations or assistance in emergencies, ensuring timely access to life-saving support. In 2019, we launched the "Ragat Chahiyo" blood management hotline, which played a crucial role during the finding of blood. Our hotline team and volunteers have assisted over 7000 families facing distress. In 2022, we expanded our services to operate 24/7, ensuring patients in need of blood receive timely assistance.
We are looking to raise $5,000. With this fundraising round, we will support the operations of the Ragat Chahiyo blood hotline in the upcoming year to support more patients in need. Your donations will help us

Our team of committed hotline operators and volunteers handle thousands of calls from people searching for blood. We gather feedback from patients, donors, and others, and encourage regular blood donations. We've partnered with various volunteering organizations like Rh-ve group, Youth for Blood, Red Cross, and blood banks in Nepal to improve blood management for families in need.
